For over 20 years, Dr. Brewer has operated MPB Group Inc, a nationally accredited and state-licensed outpatient mental health clinic serving Howard and Prince George’s Counties, Maryland. The organization provides therapy and psychiatric services to more than 2,000 clients across the lifespan and functions as a graduate-level training, practicum, and internship site for emerging clinicians seeking independent licensure.

In recent years, Dr. Brewer has expanded into plant-based psychedelic-informed programming, curating clinically grounded, ethically structured retreat and training experiences in collaboration with licensed mental health professionals and allied practitioners in both the United States and Jamaica. Her approach honors cultural heritage, emphasizes therapeutic relationships, and prioritizes safety, supervision, and continuing education.

Her experiential training model integrates formal instruction, live retreat immersion, supervised co-guiding opportunities, and ongoing professional development. The program also serves as an official practicum placement site for external training institutions—reflecting a commitment to rigor, accountability, and professional standards.
